I sold the Valkyrie last fall, but now I have aquired it back.  I had a few spooky moments on it (caused by others) which made me decide that Iam done riding, but Iam going to try and get past those moments and climb back on.  I have had a 7 month break from the bike so maybe that will help.  Some of you may remember me, and some of you may not.  Oh, and the new board looks great.

Welcome home Scooby... I'm glad that you decided to take a second shot at riding the Valkyrie. You can never be too careful and never watch those other people enough. Stay alert and I'm sure you will have many happy miles on the Valk! Ride Safely!

Scooby

Sounds like someone had a close encounter with a "T-bone".

Welcome back (and of course continue to watch out for the morons that try to dial the cell phone, tune the radio, work the crossword puzzle and drive at the same time....)!

Welcome back. You really need to be in the right frame of mind behind the bars. I have thought that I wanted to go for a ride only to find that I was not into it, turned around and went home. Ride on Sir.  Wink

Welcome back Scooby,  I know how it feels to get spooked. I just about quit riding too after my best friend Steve was killed on his I/S last June by an idiot turning left. It still is not the same, guess it never will be, really. I am still riding but it is a different ride than before. I don't feel like I have to ride because it is a pretty day or leave in the rain because I am a wimp if I don't. I don't take chances and pass when I shouldn't, I just back off and slow down.  To me riding is a pleasure not a requirement. If it is something I have to do it just becomes another job. I want to retire from my job, I don't want another one. Anyway,  welcome back, have fun, be careful and hope to see ya out there somewhere...........  Brian

Welcome back.  I recall your name from the days of old.  Every time I fire her up I wonder if this is the day.  Have had a few memorable moments, but not enough to make me park it.  Something about the feeling and the freedom on two.  Difficult to explain, but a meaningful sensation to me.  The Fat Lady; to me is a pleasure craft.  When the spirit moves me, that is my choice.  Ymmv,
