This is the second time sheeesh!!  The best way to clean the bottom of the Valkyrie motor.  I mean CLEAN.  You ready, here it is.....I really dont recommend it even though it works.  The very best way to clean the bottom of a Valkyrie motor is to ....

run over a dead creature in the middle of the road.  This time it was an armadillo, they are not nearly as hard to clean up after than the possum I squished a few years back.

Today I was cruising through town, enjoying that right after a good rain smell, well my fresh smell of fresh rain soon was replaced by the ransid smell of cooking armadillo.

I was in the left lane and in the right lane was this 4X4 truck, the lift kit was SO extensive, the bottom of the truck was at my eye level as I was riding behind and to the left of it.  I was thinking MAN he cant see squat!  I was going to make darned sure that I was not in his path if he was going to change lanes.......my eyes were off the road for a second or two as I looked at the truck when the sound of a HUGE eggshell cracking and the blump blump of going over someting.  A quick look in the mirror and the distinct lines of Mr Armadillo was still settling down after taking a major hit from both wheels.

I got to Wal Mart, and took a look.....it got my water pump and the bottom of the motor, but not real bad just a few shreds.  Well I needed a new cleaning brush for the bike anyhow, and I could never seem to remember it when out, so this was  a great time to get it.

After 15-20 minutes of scrubbing that water pump and motor bottom is clean and no smell in the family room.

Judy doesnt mind the faint oil and gas smell but dead roasting varmint "road kill" she wont tolerate.

Well there you have it.  Moral of the story, eyes on the road 100% of the time
