Anyone have them? Likes dislikes?

Looking for a larger set of bags. the ones on the Aero are Tour Master and I like them. They are on the smallish side and would just not look right on the Valkyrie.

Scootworks has Saddleman bags, either the xl or Jumbo in either the cruizn or drifter model that look ok to me.

I like hardbags, but I am not wedded to them. That and I am not ready to drop 600+ for them right now less paint.

However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results.

I had the "Jumbo" Saddleman Drifter Slant bags on my Valk for awhile and, even though they were "Jumbo", they still looked small on the Valk.  Also, I could never get them to hang straight...always drooping in the back.  Also, I had a problem with them cracking the back wall where they connected...I believe this was because of the way they hung on the bike.  The chrome fender rail caused some stress in the bag right where the buttons went through the bag.  Plus it was the left side both times that cracked...which is the side that hangs away from the bike when on the side-stand.  To Saddleman's credit, they did replace them twice for this problem without question and beyond the warranty.  All I had to do was send them the broken bag.  The 2nd time, I was in the process of building my hard bags, so I sold them without even opening the box.

Here's a pic of my Valk with these bags:

I had them on my bike but they were not on long enough to crack or wear. I liked them but when I got more money i upgraded to some I liked better. got mine through Dennis Kirk and the price was good. My JUMBO slant bags were alot bigger than the ones pictured above, fit the bike nice.

I have the chrome bag supports off my 03 Standard if you are looking at saving money, in good contition, on less tahn a year, will sell cheap. Already sold the Saddleman bags though. if intrested send me a message.
