Sorry for being outta touch for awhile... I took a little ride on the GW.

Let's see... Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, down into central Georgia and back.  Just a one handed cruise... little to no interstate...

A growing gallery here: http://www.culleynet.com/zen/index.php?album=The%20Road/georgia-2011&page=1  I am especially proud of the Tail of the Dragon shot... many more images and video forthcoming.  (stay tuned!)

Sorry I missed the meet-up in Blanco... would have been there... but I was... well... elsewhere.

It's awfully hot but I still want to get together before I leave for New Mexico and Colorado at the end of the month...

A day ride out to Luckhenbach, Fredericksburg or maybe Enchanted Rock anyone?  Otherwise it's fall for me... Doc Web's Hill Country Halloween Ride in Bourne.

Heck, I bet we can put something together before InZane!

That Tail of the Dragon pic is what Smokin' Joe would call the "Money Shot".  Very nice!

Oddly... he said just that about this one last March: http://culleynet.com/zen/The%20Road/spring-ride-2011/DSC07920_002_6X7_1024.jpg.php

Although I am more partial to this one: http://culleynet.com/zen/The%20Road/Last%20Spring%20Romp%20~%20May%202010/DSC06820_X1920.jpg.php?p=*full-image

Or even this one: http://culleynet.com/galleries/new/big_bend_fall_ride_09/images/10.11.09/seamless_pano_004_X1920.jpg

I guess it shows... I am a bit of a shutterbug!

I'm up for a spin to somewhere, even nowhere sounds pretty good.  For the first time in a long while, I actually got on the phat girl yesterday and escaped the everyday routine around this house, and logged almost 200 miles through the hills.  It'll just depend on what day y'all choose.  I'm busy playin' nurse around here everyday except Sunday.

Thanks Richard... i am leaving for Foat Wuth this weekend... then should be around for a week or so... then to Dallas for a conference. (speaking to a bunch of secondary administrators about how I use internet distance learning to save bucks and limit liability exposure to the school district.... don't that sound yummy!)  Then I am scatting out to the Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico for the rest of the summer.

Can 'prolly squeeze in a morning ride sometime... but you know me I like meeting EARLY... if we donlt meet till 11AM I'll have a heat stroke by 2PM.

Otherwise... it'll be after school starts for me....
