I have the Honda Clarion CB on my bike. I also wear a full face helment. The CB has an audio input cable that you can plug almost anything into it. I use the J&M head set with an Arai helment that has the cut outs for the head phone speakers. I use a Sirrus radio and a Ipod mostly.

i don't know how the set up is for a tourer.  i thought that a CB was an option for some of 'em, not really sure.  as for having a radio or even a CB radio, they're almost required for long trips!!  imagine driving your car for a long trip with out having any tunes!!  i listen to music every single time i get on the cycle, this morning was probably the first time in a long time that i didn't listen to anything but the road.  for me, it's a must.  having a CB (and a buddy that has one also) makes riding enjoyable too.  with out the CB, before, i would point at what ever it was and hope my buddy would know what the heck i was pointing at, then if i would remember, i'd say "did you see that chic in that car?!?"  and he'd say, "oh, i thought you were pointing at that purple house?"   uglystupid2

Cycle sounds. Sometimes you can get good deals on the speakers. Mine are the 2" and wish I'd gone bigger. I can hear it fine but she can just hear the beat. In town its all good. I'd opt for the vol control. So much easier then getting your player out to find the vol. Vol control is pricey. almost paid $80 from cycle sounds but found it for $10 somewhere else, for the same one.

i have a 2k I/S w/cb. hardly ever use the radio, cb when on long trips w/buddy on his I/S.

guess is boils down to how important tunes are to you.

J&M makes a nice LOOKING one, never used it though.

good luck Smiley
