I plan on ordering a new seat soon, like this week. My problem is in the size. I am up against the high end of the big boy, but not quite on the KBB.
I imagine that if I checked before the morning constitutional, I would make weight for the KBB. After that, and if I keep walking over lunch, I will be under. Inseam is 33 with MOST pants, some are 34. Still 6 foot ish.
The stock seat on this 99 tourer is better than the 97 by far. Where I find that I am wanting room, is in the angle of the leg. I just feel like I am trying to ride a english saddle with the knees bent.
If anyone else here was in a similar position I would like to hear you thoughts. I might have to go to larger risers with the KBB.
I don't do extreme rides, just don't have time, but I can do more than the stock wants to let me do. Max I have ever ridden was 268 one way, that was enough. I had a Mustang. Nice, but never seemed to get comfy. Got buttnumb in 150-200 miles. I want to try a Ultimate.

I cannot give advice, other than to say I (my size) fit well within the specs published for the Lowboy, which I have on one bike, and its a great seat, but I like the Bigboy on my other bike better. And I have heard a number of others say the same thing.
Remember this, so long as you do not order any variations in a standard seat (stitching/colors/etc), you have ten days (or so, I don't remember the exact figure, it's on their site) to return a seat for any reason. Order the one you think best (KB), and return for the other (BB) if you need to. Theoretically, you could go back to the first one if you wanted.... but I don't know what they'd say to that.
Of course, it would be nice if you could just plunk down other guy's seats (BB/KB) on your bike for a quick spin before choosing.

Go for the Kingboy seat. With your inseam length you'll be extra glad you did.I've had both the bigboy and the Kingboy and there is alot more room and alot more comfort with the Kingboy seat in my opinion. In fact after buying my 1st Kingboy I sold the Bigboy and bought another Kingboy for the other bike.

Another vote for the King Big Boy. I'm 6'3" with about 33 or 34 insearm. Tried a friends Big Boy and it didn't seem like it sat me back much at all over stock. Went with the King, Love It! I also dropped my pegs a inch with the kit (I can't remember, but I think it's a Rattlebars kit).
If you don't go with the King, you'll regret it!!! (IMHO)
Good Luck!

I've got a Low Boy and I have had it before I quit smoking.... now I might qualify for a Big Boy, but it still fits. I think you are a Big Boy probably....
If you want to sit in it.... drop me a line and maybe we can meet up at Station Square Bike Night on Thursday or Pleasant Hills QS&L on Wednesday.... or somewhere else.

When I was looking at the Ultimate Seat a few years back all the size charts said the Big Boy was for me. When I found that Des was going to be at BikeWeek with his trailer I made sure to find him. I told him I wanted a Big Boy seat for my Valk... Well, Des took a look at me & said the KingBigBoy was the right seat. 6'0, 32" inseam and 250 lbs. I took his experienced word & it has been fantastic. Best $960 I ever spent!! I got the whole set up. Des himself swapping out the old Mustang seat.

I only have a 30" inseam and got a Lowboy which according to Ultimate's literature should have been perfect. But I found the seat hard and had too much bend to my knees. I traded for a Bigboy which helps a lot and would even consider going to a Kingboy. The height is not problem whatsoever.

You want the King. I too have a King on one bike and a Big Boy on the other one. When I find the extra $, I will get a King to replace the BB. Promise, you won't be sorry.

Get the KBB. I am 6', 250 lbs., 31" inseam. I had the BigBoy, put several thousand miles on it, but always felt like I was stuck in it, couldn't move. Finally got to where it felt like the boys were getting pinched pretty good, so sold the BB and the next time I went to Sturgis, bought the KBB. A world of difference! Comfort, room to move around, more thigh room down the side of the seat, and no more pinching of the boys! Dave

Just got back from out west about 3000 miles!!! Bought KBB in March and love it. But found I will have to move my new hard bags out more so lid can clear seat much wider than my corbin. My advice go with KBB. wife agreed also.

5-10, 31", 270#, I have no problem reaching ground or bars with the King(but,my bony butt still needs more padding). The BB would have been a dissappointment. My wife is extremely happy with her "perch".

5'10", 30" inseam, over 230lbs., been using the KBB as long as they've been available. Had the BB before this one and Des suggested I take a spin on the King...did it during Bike Week. Came back after a few miles and placed my order for the KBB and never looked back. The LowBoy was too snug where it counted, the BB was good but the KBB even better. You'll be happy with the King.
