okay guys, many posts on the light bar subject and switching them separately. Is anyone using the show chrome switch block that mounts on the brake or clutch fluid reservoir? Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I've got the Kury switchbox.  It has a base plate that replaces the master cylinder cover then the switchbox attaches to that.

I have been looking at them both and wondering about the rain issue. X-ring, have you had issues with water in the Kury switch?

No.  Punisher and I discussed them quite a bit before we bought them and we decided on the Kurys for the way they attached to the master cylinder.  We both didn't like the holes through the top with the Show Chrome one.  We thought it would let in water.  I haven't had any problems with mine getting wet but Punisher did once.  Of course, he was riding through some really severe rain and the way he described it you can forget cats and dogs.  Horses and cows was more like it.  He also said it was horizontal coming at him.  So with the strong wind driven rain plus the the speed of his I/S the rain was forced into the switchbox.  Everything quit working until the switchbox dried out.

I had mine out today to start the install. Has anyone attempted to pack the inside with dielectric grease or will it seep out in the hot sun?

Don't know about dielectric grease but Punisher was talking about sealing his with rtv where the switchblock and base plate meet.

IMHO... you can put the switches where ever you like.  What's important is that you fuse and relay heavy auxiliary loads.  This is what I did:
