Years ago a rider from North Carolina came to a couple of my fall color rides in Robbinsville, NC . He had these Kawasaki saddlebags on his Valk and they looked pretty good. Just saw these on the Knoxville, Tennessee craigslist and thought I'd share....Decent price IMO. http://knoxville.craigslist.org/mcy/2476910168.html

I've always loved the looks of thse bags. If I did not have a tourer already I would be after those.

Great looking bags but.... a friend of mine bought a new Nomad (05 I think) & he said the bags leaked from day one. Several trips back to the dealer were no help. Personally I'm not fond of side loader bags.

My 82 CBX had, I guess "side loader" hard detachable lockable bags, I liked them better than these top loader saddlemen I got, I could strap items to the front and back and not have to dig down through them to find something

I got a Red and White Valkyrie when I saw Frank's, and he had the South Carolina stickers on his the first time I saw it... he got me the South Carolina stickers on my side covers... So I copied Frank...
