I am seeking a supply for new jets.  I am sure that my jets are at least partially clogged.  I am getting ready, acquiring parts, to clean up the carbs, replace the vacuum hoses, etc.  Normal slow jets are #35 and Im thinking of installing #38's.

Any advice along with a source would be appreciated.

Thanks.........Greg

I had my carbs cleaned and slows changed to 38's a few months back.
Made a MAJOR improvement in cold starting and low rpm engine performance!!
Didn't have to order the jets, so I can't help you there. But I can tell you that
if I ever buy another Valk that will be one of the first things I do to it..along
with a de-smog. cooldude

That's where I got mine some years back. Go to the top right grouping, N424-21-xxx, the ones you want are second from the top; 019-006. Their main website and email info is at the bottom of the page. You'll have to go to the home page for the phone number. You can also get them here: http://www.chaparral-racing.com/home

Some riders feel Chaparral quality is lacking but the jets I've bought from them have been fine. Also believe they're less expensive from them as well. Good luck.

Here's the jets I bought from Chapparal.  Genuine Keihin.  Same manufacturer that made our carbs.  You want the 21-38s.

There a bunch of places to get your parts.. Google Keihin carburetors and you'll come up with about bizillion places.. CPW is in Cleveland if your looking for some place in your own home state.. Most fellas tend to replace the bowl retainer screws along with the jets..

always had good luck with Sudco...too many horror stories with Chapparal.

Redeyetech can help with a lot of the rubber parts and the new bowl screws (highly recommended).

Actually bought my 38 slows at the Honda stealer for $2.50ea! I much prefer them over the 35s, easy start and better low end response, but a slight ding on the MPG.

Genuine Keihin Jets, not reproductions.

I ordered jets, #38 from Jets R Us.  Now to get all the other stuff.  Much of which I am getting from Redeye.  Now to find the time and not goof up the carbs.
