I'll try to keep this short:
I replaced my triple trees, forks, handlebars and both switches on the bars on my '99 Standard.

The original bars had the wiring run through the bars and it looks like the wires were replaced with thinner ones to fit. And needless to say there has been some "riggin" in the headlight bucket.
However everything did work before I started.
I tagged everthing as I was dissassembling and all went back together surprisingly well! It all works:
it starts, blinkers work, brake lights work, driving lights work, horn...

Except:
the headlight has no power and I have one blue and white wire that I can't figure out where it goes. This wire comes from the leftside switch, which is the same where the headlight harness comes from.  I have no other "empty" wire/connector where this thing would plug into.

Is anyone familiar with this wiring or know where I can get a wiring diagram?

Can I get to a wiring diagram on this site?

I did make a copy of Dags manual but I must of left it at work and I'm on vacation this week. Not really wanting to go to work to get it unless I have to.

Here are the wiring diagrams for the Valkyries...  http://www.rattlebars.com/valkfaq/schematics/index.html

S3 deals with the headlights.  Looks like the Blue/White wire goes from the Starter Button to the Dimmer Switch.
