 My cam covers on each side are losing the clearcoat and starting to deteriorate. I'd like to take them off and polish them and my question is- How much, if any, oil should I expect to leak when I remove them?. Thanks to everyone who reads this. Rick

You should expect none.  They are pretty much decoration when oil comes into play.
