It's a Russian Makarov in 9mm Mak.
Decent finish, but didn't have the original grips, so I got a worn set from ebay to match.
Cannot wait to take it out and shoot it!

9mm Makarov,  9X18. 1 MM shorter than 9 Luger ( 9x19) and 1 MM longer than .380ACP ( 9X17)..   Very decent round.

Very nice gun, and being a direct blow back (Instead of a delayed blowback) VERY accurate. A Russian commercial market version much like yours was my carry gun for many years. Since you've got it for shooting and not collecting (Since it's a Russian commercial market version, not a Russian military version) I HIGHLY recommend putting a set of Pearce grips on there - http://www.pearcegrip.com/

I've got a Russian commercial, East German Military and Bulgarian Military actual Makarov's, plus a Hungarian PA-63, Polish P-64 and a Czech CZ-83 all chambered in 9x18 Mak... Why yes I am OCD, why do you ask?  angel

Good gun.

Find your ammo on-line for best prices.  Sportsmans guide is a good start.

Nice. I always wanted one of those.

actually, it came with the pearce grip.  I changed it out only because I like the looks of the russian grips.
The pearce grips had a much better feel, though.
