I came out of Walmart at lunch time today and a guy wearing a Harley shirt was looking at my bike. Keep in mind I have a black tourer with an interstate tank that has grey flames painted on it. He says how do you like your Victory? I said actually its not a Victory its a Honda Valkyrie. I went on to tell him it will go as fast and far as you want to go. He said he has a Harley but he has friends that ride Honda's so he knows they are good bikes. I seriously question how smart this guy is. I didn't have time to mess with him so I fired up my bike and said have a nice day and rode off.

Well I had a response to Striders post but its gone  Undecided  I'm posting mine anyway since it takes me for ever to type  Cheesy

If I had to go tomorrow and buy a NEW bike it would be a Goldwing I'm sure. 2nd pick more than likely a Suzuki M109 R. I've got 130,000 miles spread out between 3 Valkyries so it should be a long time before I need another bike.

but I was at the Honda shop. The young guy pushing the dirt bikes out front to get sunshine asked how I liked my Valk. It was a nice opener to a sales pitch about checking out the new bikes, but I made it clear that my old bike was just fine for me.

A lot of my friends ride HDs and they all LOVE my Valk. They know a good thing when they see it.
