Living the dream in Sharonville, OH - with Sharon!

« on: July 13, 2011, 04:51:46 AM »

After two grueling days it's finally over.

It was brutal.  Cry Temperatures in the mid to upper 90's with heat indexes breaking 100 degrees Fahrenheit! There was no relief in sight with overnight lows only reaching the mid 70’s.

With constant weather advisories and a special bulletin at work warning of the danger of walking outside is such dangerous weather, somehow we lived through it.

While we were giving up hope, we finally awoke to cooler temps with the high today expected back to normal, mid 80’s….. Life is Good!

Miss you guys and gals, but not the heat! Evil

Our local weather guy noted we've had about 29 or ? days of 100+ days already this year and 11 such days in a row, not counting today.  It's dang bloody hot here in central TX!

The sad part is that the way he wrote it up, is the way most folks see it up there.  No matter where you are, or what your condition, it's the worst that could ever be.  I've seen people in the far north complain about the heat, the far south complain about the cold, in little towns complain about the traffic, in large cities complain about "nothing to do".
Oh well.  No use complaining about human nature.

I know what you mean.  Here in Pennsylvania the low tonight is predicted to be a balmy 57, getting up to a toasty 84.   Good thing I packed my hot weather gear, huh?
