How many of you have changed the handle you use since joining the vrcc. I have been a member since april or may of 2002 and started out as jimbo and switched to fast black.  Anyhow just curious if any others have changed  or am I the only one.
I pretty much read the board every day but I don't post much.

Started out as SirLancelot a long time ago maybe 2000, it's stayed that way. Once a knight always a knight, but once a night is enough!

My CB handle is BIG DOG, always has been. WESTERNBIKER has always been my motorcycle handle, never seen a need to change either one.

Same now as it was the day I joined.

Saw no need to change.

Same for the bike, it started as MGM and it is still that to this day.

So what turned you so bashful, Bob ??
True story. I joined a (now defunct) riding club and all of
the members joining just ahead of me had Seven Dwarf
nicknames. I wanted to be Grumpy, but a feller about 9 ft
tall and 8 ft wide said "I'm Grumpy". So I says "Yes, sir, you
sure are." Already had a Doc and a Happy.

Nope, its still the same. I could never think of a clever handle that would mean something special to me.

Changed mine from "Moms" to "Momz".
In my old ABATE Region everyone had a handle. Being the Road Captain is was always playing "Mother Hen" trying to keep the group together and from "rubber banding".

Changed it when Big BF and I were corresponding on the Classified board, and he asked if I was a female. I told him if I were a girl,...he'd never sleep soundly again.

To me a handle is the same thing as a nickname. What I don't understand is a handle such as rmrc51. (not picking on you. just looking for an example) That type of nickname is hard to use in a conversation or to hollar across a parking lot. Personally I remember handles a lot easier than proper names. To answer the ?? mine has not changed.  cooldude

I used to use my name but with the change from the old style board, I decided I wanted a different screen name.  Thought about it for a while and decided on my current one.  I'm a competitive shooter and X ring hits are used to break ties.  Asked Sweet Tea what she thought and she approved.

Originally Mike 3973.  Missus said it lacked pizazz.
At one point, there were a lot of musicians named "Mike"  or "Michael" in the circle I traveled in.  A friend (named, Michael)  started calling all the Mikes he knew by the instruments they played and Fiddle Mike stuck.

Do I win?

Joined the board and went by Magic.  Several years ago one of my Rolling Thunder friends started
calling my Popeye because of my forearms. Once everyone heard it, if was official.  Most of the bar staff at my local watering holes call me Popeye.
