I was just plugging along like normal letting those that are in a hurry go around. got passed by a swift driver, he got about 1/4 mile ahead. then a volvo with a refer(refrigerated, get your mind out of the poppy fields) trailer got between me & swift. I started to slow down to increase my following distance when the guy in front got on his brakes HARD. I managed to stop with about 20 feet to spare. the volvo wasn't so luck he stopped by tapping the swift guys trailer Shocked

they pulled over, it was just a fender bender. of course these trucks are just fiberglass up top so it doesn't take much for major carnage to ensue

Passed by a Swift  Shocked   I would never admit to that even it was true .  Who do you drive for ? If the truck you drive is slower than the Swift fleet ....WOW  Sad

I assume you were on yer Valk?   Which brakes got a months worth the front or the back?

nah my truck runs 72-73 I'm just too cheap to run it that hard since I pay for diesel. (I could run abit harder, my load is only 11,000 lbs this trip) I'm getting 7.6 mpg
