What a morning!

Cheryl called and told me that a nurse we used to work with was stabbed to death by her boyfriend, IN FRONT OF THE POLICE.  They were outside on a balcony arguing when neigbors called the police.  The police arrived and he started stabbing her on the balcony.  The cops shot him twice.  He's stable, she's dead.

I then remembered that she was dating a friend of mine from med school who did the residency program with me at that hospital (14 years ago).  I looked his name up in Google and found out he's serving 3 years for medicare and medicaide fraud.

You can't make this stuff up!
