Hi all, My name is Mike, I just picked up a '99 Standard. I am up in Michigan. Rode it home Tuesday in the rain. 55 deg and sunny just got a little ride in. If you see some guy that goes by Wizard on here thats my Dad! Just wanted to introduce myself. Great board I have been reading a lot here latley. ------Mike

Awesome.... A second generation Valk owner... Yep, that Wizard gets around... glad to have you around and believe me, there are some great Valk owners up in Michigan. Those folks do know how to have fun and they RIDE often and truly experience life. Great bunch up there with lots of chapters. I'm sure they will all chime in soon. WELCOME and Ride Safely!

SE area and another mid state i think.

Mike, congratulations on buying the best motorcycle ever built!! I almost bought a gold wing, but found my IS last summer, it was love at first sight! I’ll stop at a red light and it seems that everyone has to check it out, I know I wouldn’t be getting that on a gold wing (not that it’s not a good cycle, they just don’t have the personality as a Valkyrie!!) The only thing I don’t like is when I’m on the highway and someone’s got to ride right next to me just to look it over…
