Due to the proximity of Inzane we are postponing the Houston VRCC meeting until next week.  So, one week from today, July 27, 7:30.  We're due to be in the Clear Lake area again.  Shall we take another vote on whether we go to the BBQ place from last time, or back to our more traditional Floyd's?  Pipe up if you care...

OK. I can blame it on jetlag.  I can blame it on arriving home from a trip after 1AM the night before.  I can blame it on trying to beat Early Bird to the punch.  Take whichever excuse you'll believe, and that's the one I'm going with.  I mixed up my weeks.  I thought Inzane is THIS weekend, not the one after it.  Sorry 'bout that.

So, what does everybody want to do?  Push it back another week, so we can get the Inzane bound to come back (at least most of them)?  Or, do it on the day announced?  I'm inclined to push it back one more week, and have our July meeting on August 3rd, but since I can't be trusted to operate anything as complicated as a calendar, I'm open to suggestions.

OK, here's the call:
Dodis has a point.  Since I plan to eat dinner one way or another this Wednesday, I'll eat at Floyd's.  Any of my VRCC buddies want to join us?
(How's that for an "unofficial" dinner meeting?)

Our "official" meeting will move to August 3rd, at the BBQ place we went to last time.

So, to recap:
Wednesday, July 27, 7:30 PM, meet me at Floyd's Cajun, at the southwest corner of 528 and 45 in Webster.
Wednesday, August 3, 7:30 PM, Houston VRCC meeting at:
Dickinson Bar-B-Que & Steak House
2111 FM 517 East
Dickinson, TX  77539
281-534-2500

Clear?

Reminder for those of ya'll who have made it home from Michigan by now (or will by tomorrow evening):
Wednesday night is your night to brag.  Come on out and join us at the Houston chapter July meeting in August.  Bring pictures, stories, or just a smug look on your face that tells the rest of us that you had a great week, while we were stuck at work.

Dickinson BBQ, Wednesday night, 7:30.

PS:  if you didn't go go Michigan, I guess you're invited, too.  Somebody's got to listen to their stories.
PPS:  No, I didn't go.  So, I'm one of the saps stuck at work.
