Read a current? issue of Fire House and they had articles off FF/Medics being shot on calls. Some fires were set so he could snipe off FF.  I do carry when I go on FD medical calls. You never know. |

Been shot (on the bike) with a paintball gun (3 hits in the back and one on the neck), and also once (one dart in the thigh) from a blow gun back when they were popular.
Never been shot at with a gun yet...hope to avoid that particular privilege.

Why wouldnt some one shoot at ya? Paint ball,blow dart,12 gauge.... Why the hell not? what you gonna do ? take away my welfare? tell your mommy? This is Amureca ! no penalty for actions here ! Cant even put some one in jail or they fill out a hurt feelins report and claim that you looked at them inappropriately. "It's not my fault , my team lost a game in little league and my daddy did not hug me enough."  |

initially I thought it was a big rig driver. as often as we get pulled out in front of its just part of the job.
