I-69 is a good road all the way to Lansing MI. 1 construction spot north of Ft Wayne but its just a lane shift, still fast. Watch for State Trooper MC around Ft Wayne. They get alot of folks. Stay on 69 through ft wayne dont go around it on 469. 469 is the looooong way. 69 is 6 lanes through the fort.
Funny you say Warren Ind cause I'm stationed there today.  cooldude 2 hotels here. All new within 10 yrs or less. The Motel 6 is very cheap. I think it says $49 on the sign. I'll look later today. Also a no-tell motel but i'll leave that one out.  Undecided Mc D's, family resturaunt, and Steal City truck stop all out front. Also a gas staion with a subway. You need a cold one you gotta venture into town to the only bar about 5 miles. They got very good food, better then the resturaunt.  Cheesy Warren is very safe and quiet. Town has like 7,000 people. Nice short rides along the river are kinda neat.
Anderson. Big town with alot of hotels and food. Stayed at the Lee's Inn once and was good. If I had to choose and could ride another 50 miles, I'd choose Warren.
Weather is good for monday/tue. 85 and no rain.

Let me know what you decide and when you will be up this way for a possible hook up. I work mon at a different station but tue is free.

Update*** Motel 6 is $35.99 per the light up sign. It never changes.

Thanks for the infor guys.

Joe hate you're not going to make Inzane. Talked to James yesterday and he told me your plans. Tell Jim I said hello.

Fudgie thanks for the recommendations. We will ride the 50 miles on up to Warren. We should be rolling in around 4:00 in the afternoon Monday. It would be great to hook up.

Big Al I'll be glad to say hi to everyone for you. cooldude

Wont be able to hook up as I'll be at a different EMS station, about 18 miles away. But if you need anything give me a call 26O 3 five8 7O28. Slim chance I'll get down that way.
The enterance to motel 6 is right past Mc'D. Kinda hard to see. Its a little ruff once you pull in, lot of semi ruts. Watch your Hankook.  Wink
