I'm thinking of adding speakers and an audio receiver with Bluetooth connect to iPod or droid phone. Anyone have any experience with a setup for this?

Just saw your post; you may have already found something. I am using these, and am pretty cursed impressed with them.  The amp is built in.  They are inexpensive.  Did I mention I am cheap?

With stock pipes, these should suffice for interstate speeds.  I have 6-into-6 Two Brothers pipes, and can hear the music with them at 65 and under.  With those pipes, I don't think I could hear a bullhorn at 70 and over!

The shark audio stuff is about as practical as you can get, for less than $200. That being said, I have ridden with one on for 6 months, and am switching to a bluetooth helmet system as soon as funds allow. No matter which you decided to try, make sure you wire it correctly, and use a relay.
