An innocent victim right here in SC was able to save herself from being raped, and probably murdered, because she was carrying. This is the way many more crimes should end! :cool dude: Guns... don't leave home without one! http://www.wistv.com/story/15140008/female-motel-clerk-kills-robber

I can't help but point out the irony in Nugent's remarks that families left the "slavedrivers of Europe" to come here and... own actual slaves.
But other than that he's right.

It frreks me out that you guys can carry guns but I am glad it turned out the way it did. One dead scumbag. But it could have turned out bad if the gun had jammed or she just wounded him. I am just glad she was able to keep her wits and shoot the guy in the right spot. I guess you don't need a canon to protect yourself, just good aim.

It's way better for everyone involved (except the bad guy) when you just kill them outright. Less chance of getting sued or having your side of the story called into question.

Good for the gal that put the perp on the floor. One question tho, how did the LEOs determine with out a doubt that he was going to rape her?
He had a condom in his wallet.

It would have been better if she was robbed and raped and he was not wounded? Or she was robbed and raped and the gun jammed ? Maybe it would be best if he robbed, raped and she made him breakfast befor he killed her ! WTF ?

Dude.....do your homework. When Europe came to America slavery came with her. The Puritans did not believe in slave ownership, but they were not the first ones here and the America that eventually fought British tyranny in the crucible of the late 1700's and early 1800's was a slave owning country. Those are facts. You see, I've done my homework.

What I was referring to was that: if he was not intending to kill her, then when she shot him, if he had not been killed then he probably would have taken the gun and killed her. I was just saying....I am glad she killed him. Iron out those panties now.

Just submit and hope your attacker takes pity on you and doesn't do too much damage. Now that train of thought freaks me out. As RK said, "WTF"!

Hey guys... I could be really wrong here, and I'm sure I'm gonna find out if I am, but I think everybody misread bscrive's intent in his post. He lives in Canada and they can't carry guns in Canada. I read his post as meaning he's amazed (in a good way) that we can carry guns. He agrees that it's a good thing that she killed the scumbag. But I also think his logic may be a bit skewed by bringing up what could have happened if the gun jammed. That logic also holds that it's very possible that she would have been in a bad spot if she didn't have the gun at all. Am I reading it wrong? I just didn't get the feeling that he thought having the gun was a bad thing.

I've always thought that the concept of being better off unarmed and/or not resisting was pretty crazy logic. At least she had a chance to do something, and she did. Who will ever know how many other future bad happenings were prevented right there.

Sounds great. I remember maybe a month ago a tough little hammer beat the sucker up, got his keys and tossed them, got his bilfold out, smacked him in the dead with a rock and he ran off only to have the cops round him up.
