The 10 day forecast for the DFW area calls for 9 out of the 10 days to be over 100 degrees. The other day will be a balmy 99 degrees.      uglystupid2

Well, it turns out that (1) 99 degree balmy day in the 10 day forecast actually hit the 100 degree mark. I believe I heard on the news that we are now in 2nd place in the record books for consecutive 100 degree days only trailing the 1980 record year for 100 degree days.      coolsmiley

For those riding home from Inzane, be prepared for the heat and make sure you hydrate. The tropical storm that was supposed to bring us some relief, fizzled out.      crazy2

Same here except they are giving us a chance for a sprinkle this weekend.  I think we're 40+ days of 100+ degrees already.  Includes the late spring heat wave too.

I knew I shouldn't have opened this post.  How long have I known Lyn-Del?

Of course, the worst news for those of us that aren't in Bellaire right now is that we're not in Bellaire right now.  (I passed Bellaire Texas yesterday.  Does that count?)

I wish it was going to be 70 tonight, but alas, it is predicted to be 79 degrees tonight.  We too are in the 100+ degree range for the next week or so.  We DID get a sprinkle of rain this morning.  One clap of thunder while I was walking my dog, and 10 drops of rain on my sidewalk (and yes, I did count them).
