I guess I support animal murder, 'cause I love most kinds of meat.  I do have to admire the creativity of the protest yesterday in Regina, Saskatchewan, however:

The protest was staged to promote a meat-free lifestyle.

I wonder how that worked out for them?

I wonder how they would have felt if I pulled up on the sidewalk with my moble barbecue pit.

Sorry, Gryph, got to disagree. I do not admire corrupting the language to suit a particular agenda.

I liked the old ads better.

There are many more featuring different models and starlets. I'm not posting any more though because I'd hate be accused of gratuitous animal protection.   crazy2

Notice how PETA doesn't show up at motorcycle rallies where there is more cow-hide for sale in on place than there are cows in the whole state of Texas?  uglystupid2

That was my first thought, fire up a grill and break out a rotissary and point it at the south end yelling "RIGHT BALL CORNER POCKET" as you start to run.

There's a BBQ joint near me that sells that shirt. I was gonna buy it but went with the "Anorexia Survivor" shirt instead.

Preserve wildlife use freezer bags. Animals have a place in our lives, usually right next to the potatoes and carrots.

PETA is a great (maybe the best) example of extremism hurting the very cause they're trying to further. I have no issue with a lot of PETA's causes. I'm a dedicated carnivore but I don't want animals treated cruelly in the process of obtaining my tasty meats and dairy products and I think that cosmetic testing on animals is deplorable. So if PETA could focus on that stuff I'd be behind them 100%.

But you've got too many whackadoos in there wanting to ban hunting/production and the consumption of meat altogether while ignoring the fact that we have the kind of teeth we do for a reason and that there is NO 1 to 1 substitute for meat protein in the diet. Or for that matter, what to do when THE apex predator takes itself out of the ecosystem. Then you've got the active militants assaulting the people wearing fur (and getting it wrong about 1/2 the time).
