Phil and Lupe of Fort Collins CO won! They rode two-up on a beautiful 99 I/S.
My wife Damselfly actually got the highest MPG on our I/S but riding two-up will  still take the prize when it comes down to 0.1 MPG. And I came in third place @ 44.7 MPG.

Phill and Lupe got 45.15 MPG
Damselfly got 45.20 MPG

Several riders backed out. So there were only three bikes.
Although I had talked to quite a few others at IZ XI that said that they were getting 40+ MPG if they kept their speed below 70 MPH.

We rode at a brisk pace when possible and we were also caught in heavy traffic in Traverse City and Acme.
Valkyries seem to encourage brisk riding and we rode them that way.
