Pharmboy and I were rolling into the town of Browning, MT and then the fatal vibration and the clunking of the ujoint. I limped into Browning, Mt and now I wait to have a fellow VRCC member ship me their used u-joint...
Thank you honda for being on the ball and making these readily available... sigh.... I am one of many on backorder for the past four plus months now. Oh well... it's been a great journey and hope to be back on the road tomorrow.
1999 Valkyrie Interstate w/ 67k miles..... and ujoint fails...
Hope everyone is having a good time in Michigan.
Joe.

Browning is not a place I would want to get stranded in, hope you get that ujoint! If you have the opportunity take hwy 89 up through St. Mary to Babb & go into Many Glacier area, you won't be disappointed, guarenteed!

I could loan you a Harley to finish your ride, but alas I am in Tennessee.
Hope you get her going and don't miss much of your ride.
I have 57,000 on my 2001 Interstate, but I don't know if mine was changed before I got it.
Guess I will find out one day.

Sorry for the misleading... We made it back home last sunday. I was just saying that the timing was a few weeks off but it was a good time and it was part of the journey..
