just wondering how many gas stops we might have to make on our way up to Cheaha next week and my tank is smaller than Beekeeper's I/S tank.

I get 14 MPG gallon on mine, but I have a 15 gallon Tank, but I'm feeding 2 more cylnders and about 350 more hp....

Opps, you is a askin about Valkyrie Trikes.  Can't answer that one.....   I'd assume you could get somewhere from 25 to 29 with the Trike kit........

Hey Donna.... You can figure about 2 to 1 as opposed to that Goldwing...

You will need to fill up about every 120 - 130 miles if I'm guessing correctly. Rusty can easily do over double that range on his Wing.

As far as mileage goes.... you will be lucky to get 28 MPG, while Rusty will get about 45 MPG.  Smiley

What you should do is rig up an axillary tank on that beast. If you can find about a 6 gallon tank that will hideaway somewhere under the back end of that trike, you and Rusty could run about "neck and neck", otherwise I'd start working on those hand signals now!  Grin

Otherwise you might wind up like a guys wife that I used to work with at the paper mill. He was moving his family down from Illinois to Alabama, he driving his big truck with camper and all on the back and her just ahead of him in her car. She ran out of gas and had to pull off the road, he just went around her and kept on driving. He never saw his wife and kids again because when she got some gasoline in her car, she turned around and headed back to Illinois.  cooldude He told me he missed her every night about dinner time, but only because she was a really great cook. Y'all be careful on the road and let me know if you need any help when you come up through here.  cooldude

All of my riding is 2 up and out on the open road I get about 35mpg if I ride at the speed limits and don't do any down shifts to open throtle passing. When I get heavy handed the mpg drops to around 26-28.

26 to 32 so far.  Still playing with the throttle, just can't seem to not twist it.  Haven't been on an open hiway trip yet to see the milage tank to tank.
