At any given time roughly half of the cage drivers around
you are of below average intelligence and/or below
average driving skills. YMMV.  Cool

It's probably not intelligence or driving skills that's lacking. Lot's of drivers take driving for granted and think it's easy. Paying attention and thinking is what's often lacking. I have a CDL and drive children for a living. I think safety all the time because lots of parents depend and trust me. That habit has worn off on all my driving (truck and bikes).

Something I do whenever Im riding in town where there is multi lane traffic and a high probability for a cager to encroach into my space.  I look at each driver that I can that can hurt me, its strange but when you look at them they look back.  Eye contact tells me....ok, at least that one sees me, now I can concentrate more on the ones I wasnt able to make eye contact with.  If they are texting I give some sort of act of dissaproval up to and including a short blast from my stebil.  It has had unbelievable (good) results.

If you dont treat driving in traffic as a combat zone you might not make it.  Any cage that can hurt you is "trying" to kill you.  Ride that way an you have a good chance of survival
