anyone know where I can get a new set of spark plug wires for my 2002 valk an how much do they cost.Art in Oregon

You have a couple of choices.

Order the EOM wires from your dealer or Honda Direct Line.

Other option:


Go to your Parts store, pick up the color of wire you want if it isn't black and make em to order....

It isn't all that hard to do.......

Patience, easy going, a can of WD40 and some shop towels....

Check the link to Shop Talk. Shows how to change out your plug wires with whatever color you want as RJ suggested, and retain your OEM plug caps.

The Valk wires are stranded core, and have a resistor in the boot.  Ive never seen a set go bad, and would be surprised if yours need changing.  The set above are resistor wires that I installed in the stock boots after removing the resistor and wire.  Only reason was to match the astetics of the bike and also I just wanted to try it.  It came out pretty good and the yellow goes with the flames.

I did replace the wires with the yellow ones correctly an now the valk. is running terrible.I did a post about miss firing a week ago.I de smoged changed the plugs an wires an balanced the carbs . I adjusted the valves an It still runs lousey.I guess i am going to have to bring it in to the shop an have it worked on I give up.It seams that I have met the enemy an I lost .
