Pretty impressive demonstration of how to maneuver a big motorcycle.  I was impressed.

And, if I got it right, this isn't his bike or even the kind of bike he normally rides.

I actually did a blog on that particular piece of video. Link That was a Police Motorcycle Rodeo held in Grand Prairie, Texas. It was the First Annual Spring Classic Police Motorcycle Rodeo.
I Spoke with officer Joseph G. Kalota of the GPPD. These guys put in a LOT of practice on those bikes. While I'm sure most of them have their own bikes, I'll bet they put in a lot more hours in the saddle of these police Harleys than they do one their personal machines.
The rider in the video is Officer Donnie Williams of Mckinney PD.

Officer Kolata told me the city provides a bike for them to practice with so they don't scar up their bikes learning. A motor officer in Texarkana Arkansas told me that he has to use his service bike, but that he wraps in with fire hose to protect it from the occasional miscalculation.

check out the "Ride Like A Pro" classes offered around Texas.  Several of us took it during the Gatherin' o the Fools in April, and learned a lot !  Can't say we could ride like that Cop, but it was 3 cops that taught the class, and they had us doing things we never could do before the class.  Well, except for HayHauler that is  Roll Eyes
