Hello all, I just purchased a 99 I/S, green and tan last week, and have put 1500 miles on her since. I bought it in Houston, Tx, and it had 8500 miles on the bike. So far flawless, just have to get used to the foot position as my last bike was a 09 Venture. I loved that bike as well, but she went with the divorce. As for the Valk, love it!

Welcome, dude!
FWIW, I sold an 08 Venture in order to get my (green and tan!) Interstate. Part of it had to also do with foot position. I'm used to pegs so, with the Venture, my feet were always flapping around backwards, looking for pegs, after rolling away. Each to his own, but I prefer pegs - feel more in control.
Enjoy - the Valk grows on ya.

Welcome... You will enjoy the I/S! This is a diversified group, and you can find the answers to most any problem with your bike here.
I am on my second Valk, the first I/S was dispersed by my ex, and I made sure to replace it as soon as I could with another. It was an easy choice to buy another one....
Give a shout if you ride up to my area west of Fort Worth....
