Rollin out to Sturgis tomorrow night after work. Make it to Davenport IA ish before the nights over. Wed night in Storm Lake/ Lemars IA and then thurs night in Winner SD. Roll into camp early fri morning. Dont have to be at camp till friday so we are in no hurry. Plans always change on the road so we may hit camp on Thurs. Bike is all ready to go and gonna finish packing here in a bit. Camp gear is already out there so we dont have to haul much. Made a light weight hitch rack for the rain gear & skid lids. Bag of luggage on the rack. We are actually taking more pants then guns this year. Not by much tho.  Already talked to our camp mates and we'll see them this weekend. GiG is heading out by the weekend and we'll hook up with Valkhound at One Eyeds. Hope to see Fudd out there to. It'll be our 1st anniversary to celebrate also. Just happens to be the same day a Topless Tuesday in Alzada MT. Happy anniversary to me!  See everyone on the 15th! Roadkill, dont cause to much trouble.  |

I'm planning on being to sturgis by friday mid day. It's going to be a toasty ride. 111 degrees here right now and forecast calling for those temps all week . Just finished packing up the bike.Have to work tuesday and wednesday but might roll out of here about 3 am thursday to try to beat some of the heat. Staying in Chadron thursday night which puts me 150 out of Sturgis. I've already got the table reserved at One Eyeds for us ! |

Hey sunshine, be sure and see if you can cross the mighty MO up in that area. Last I heard it was still out of it's banks. Whole bunch of roads closed up from Omaha to like Sioux City....... Ya might have to go up almost to I-90 and go across da little puddle. What the hell ever you do, DO NOT ride into water in or across the highway. Never know where there might be a hole. |

Knew I could count on you Dana! I looked last week RJ on that IADOT site and the SDDOT and it looked clear on 3 outta Lemars IA into Vermillion SD all the way to Winner SD. We cross the MO at Ft Randal/ Pickstown. Lot of high ground. Looked like the flooding was south of it. Yep sodbuster, we'll be at the dungeon. Usually every night. Gotta get this years beer condom. New camera= lotta pix. |
