Ah's blind!!!!!!! Well, I would be had I seen your posts. Luckily, my ignore list kicked in as programmed. Methinks I'll create a SPIT list: Selective Pre-Ignore Tentative list. Sort of "Oh yeah, pal? Well... disagree with me just one more time, tick me off a teensy-weensy more, and you'll go on THE list" list. I know it's mean to make the listees wake up in the middle of the night screaming, sweating, worried about being on THE list, but hey. A guy's gotta do what he's gotta do. Sorry. Aaahhhhhh......this ceiling fan sure does feel good after working out in the heat all day......101 on the ride home..... I don't know about what lists I might be on, but I can say this about the temperature... I got stuck in two horrible Interstate backups coming back from Charleston this weekend. One stretched all the way from Orangeburg to Columbia. When I came to the gridlock on this one, I was lucky enough to be near an exit, so after only being stuck for a few minutes, I exited and drove up 176, which parallels I26. It was empty. When 176 dumped back into I26 up at Columbia, it was 105 degrees, and the northbound backup was just letting up, southbound was a parking lot. Later, when I was almost home, I85 at Anderson came to a weird stop... first I noticed people moving the wrong wayin the emergency lane to my right. Then I noticed a few cars and a tractor-trailer stopped in the middle lane (my lane). Then I noticed the guy behind me almost rear-end me, because he was still looking at the folks in the emergency lane. Then it became clear that I85 was totally stopped up ahead going South, I couldn't see North because the divider at this point on I85 is over your head. No possibility for exits for miles. At least it was down to 101 by then. After stopping, and occasionally crawling ahead a little for a couple of hours, we got to where you could see the other side of I85... it was empty. I finally came to find out that an 18-wheeler going South had lost control and gone over head-first into the North-bound traffic. I had to wait a long time, and it was hot, but of course that was nothing compared to the hurt and dead people...
