 Blistered. Severely. This is my forearm, above the sleeve line. Upper chest and other forearm were as bad. The sunscreen I used just flat did not work. Damage was done on the outbound ride before I realized it. Back to the brand I've always used (Bullfrog sport spritz-on, which always works). Ouchies. |

That really DO NOT look good at all. Guessing that be a case of live and learn. Should have remembered from my Navy days-the sun can/will be brutal. RIDE SAFE.

When I flew down to Houston in 2004 to ride my Interstate back and got fried on the way back. a Texan biker told me the only way to go is Bull Frog. HEY Daniel, put some Bull frog on now and it will help from drying it out and ease the pain. T.P.

Vented Jacket for me.
No sun screen can help you on the Interstate when the temps on the road are like 170 and the sun beaming dwn.
That looks ugly.
Take care of that and maybe antibiotics are in order.
You could also develop sun poisoning.

I found out the hard way that sunscreens have an expiration date....2 yrs out of date seems to magnify solar rays !

The Bullfrog stuff works great...never had a problem.
But I was out. Wife got me something that was on sale.
Hell, it was labeled spf 45 so what the heck. It'll do, right?
Negatory. I think it was like putting butter in the pan to cook something.
Back to the Bullfrog stuff.

I'm blessed with a swarthy appearence, I burn but in 24 hours it doesn't hurt and later it peels and I start getting tan after that. unless I'm dumb enough to go with no shirt all day then it gets nasty, but I don't because you never know when there might be kids around  |

Did the Bullfrog Gel cause that??????? No, it was what I started out with on the outbound leg...banana boat sport (cream in a tube). Didn't work. Thanks for the gel, that helped me out coming home. |

You look nearly as pale as me (and I get/had skin cancer), so it's longsleeve Underarmor loosegear for me on long days (or mesh). Otherwise, sleeveless Ts with two coats of spf50... one an hour before I leave, and the other right before I leave.

Generally not at all pale...I tan quite well and rarely burn...but that said, it's because I put sunscreen on those "non-tanned" places.
This time the stuff utterly failed. It simply did not work. Ah well...
