ME TOO!

I emailed them probably about 4 months ago and asked about patches... they said that they had much better sales at Christmas than they expected.

They said that they were talking to a new patch producer at that time and should have them soon...

.... that was 4 months ago.

I have emailed them - no response.  I have called and left messages - calls not returned.  I am a Rogue Rider with no colors.

I think I will look into getting some made else where.  How many folks want them?  If I find a source, the more we get the cheaper they will be.  Post on this thread if your interested.

Count me in.  If colors are an option I need one in red.  Maybe even two.

The VRCC has nothing to do with the f6rider store other than it is owned by oZ and his family.  They provide sponsorship, and have been a great supporter of this site for over 10 years now. I sent oZ an email a few days ago alerting him to this thread.  What he does with that is up to him.

The important part is the VRCC, and the majority of the VRCC Staff (Scott, f6gal, Willow, and Motomama) have nothing to do with that business.  What they sell, or have in stock is entirely up to them.

I've been accused of being harsh, or even rude about this subject in the past and I want people to know that is not my intent.  Its a common misunderstanding that because oZ owns the f6rider store, that it is a VRCC enterprise.  That is simply not the case.

If you are having trouble getting in touch with the f6rider store, maybe you could try contacting oZ directly.  His email is ozprez@gmail.com which is publicly available here on the message board.  You could also send him a personal message, tho I'm not sure he checks that very often.

I contacted them about nine months ago and their supply of patches was small at that time.  Every patch I asked about they were out of stock so I suggested they remove the ones from their web site that were no longer available.  Apparently they have done so.  Are there other sources for Valkyrie patches??

Right now we have no patches in store. Sales have slowed to a crawl. To order patches is over $1000.00 to get the prices low enough to make them afforadable for our customer. In the past we'd order patches and it would take months and months before even breaking even, tying up our operating monies with slow return on investment.

I will be posting more news on the F6Rider Store. After the initial investment plus paying the VRCC for license the return on expenses takes the better part of a year.

It is tying up a lot of money, again with long range time sequence to break even.

We will be investicating other strategies to try to make this happen.

Which is the first patch we should try to make?

Watch F6Rider.com for more information on how we may make this request possible.

If we make the Valkyrie Riders patch the VRCC will of course receive a percentage of all sales.

Thanx, oZ

Oz, I think the original patch, large and small, should be the 1st ones made.  That is the one I've been wanting.

I have a friend who has the ability to make patches, screen tees, embroider hats and jackets etc.. I have done several projects in small quantities that was not too cost prohibitive. If someone has good jpegs of the graphics I can see about getting some patches done, or shirts or whatever. Coming in late to the game I am itching to show some colors so to speak and am not finding much out there.

I have thought about that too.  The problem is legal.  You cannot copy someone else's design legally. I took a patch of the large dragon with the Valkyrie name on it, to get that done.  They said they could NOT, because that design belongs to someone else.  You may find someone to do it, but not legally.
Maybe someone else can correct this, if wrong?

For what it's worth, the VRCC emblem and art that you see on VRCC items are all property of either the VRCC or F6Rider Store depending upon the item.

In much, if not most, of the  U.S.A. (where I live and work) copyright is implied and legal even if not officially applied for on all intellectual property.   I'm a little unclear as to what constitutes intellectual property.

So who holds the license and who has the design. I am not interested in making anything off of it, just getting the stuff made at a cost that works for everyone. OZ, are you interested in me checking what I can get them made for and putting you in touch with my connection?

I was thinking of ordering some patches and pins from the German contingent. they also show a German engineered trigger wheel and chrome radiator hose on their site. Is anyone else interested, be cheaper to order a batch and mail them out from here.

I'm interested in a few pins (small and large black ones and the small black/red)... would love a GREEN one.  Also interested in a small and medium patch as well.  Wouldn't mind a hat or two either.  I am German and took German for a year in HS.... but I can't translate that stuff.  I will send the pin guy an email to see if he can make a green pin and what the cost would be, but would be willing to go in on a bulk order if someone wants to.

I registered on their website and sent a Moderator an email asking about purchasing patches. Since I used FreeTranslations.com I'm not really sure what I said! I kept it simple and will post when I get a response.

I have a German friend communicating with them now. I did the conversions from Euros and it's not bad. Not sure what it will cost to ship, but it can't be too bad. I have shipped ebay purchases from Europe several times.

My initial email to a moderator bounced so his email must be out of date. I then bumbled through the membership log and found the person that is responsible for the patches. I sent him an email, in German, and kept it real simple telling him about the interest in the patches within the USA VRCC. I haven't heard back yet. By the way, there is about 400 member listings in their directory.

No need to be sorry for that english!  It is better than 1/2 of us here on the VRCC board, me included!
No need to wait for someone to translate.

Not that I am aware of, reference to a group buy.

I was able to get some from Werner in Germany... because of the dollar/euro exchange, they weren't cheap, but Werner has been great to deal with. When his daughter comes to the US at the end of July, she is going to send them to me from within the US.

Should be here waiting for me when I get back from Inzane.
