I belong to a group that gets these passes to movies that won't be out for another month or so.

I saw a movie last night that stared Seth Rogen called 50/50.

I was expecting a light hearted comedy and the movie is a comedy set against a bittersweet backgroung.

Seth is buddies with a 27 year old friend who is diagnosed with cancer of the spine.  The movie's title, 50/50 is his chances of surviving his cancer.

This movie tore me up as scene after scene was like reliving my cancer experience almost to a tee.  When the guy goes to the doctor with a pain in his back to be informed that he had a carcinoma threw me right back to the day that I heard the same thing.

This movie really took me to a dark place and was hard to watch, however, it is right on with exactly what it's like to live with cancer on a daily basis.

It was an amazing experience, and I hope alot of people go to see it....very moving.
