I am running the Battleax on mine with a Shinko up fnt. Dyna-beads for balance----love it---like riding a gyroscope and about $100 cheaper than e3 dunflops. cooldude

Don't know anything about the fat freddy, but the battlax has worked out well for me, it also isn't very expensive.   cooldude hoser

Avon "fat freddie" is a bias ply tire not a radial. Looks good on the rear of the Valk. Handles good with an Avon Venom on the front. Biggest drawback for me was low mileage, only got about 6K out of it before the cords were showing.

+1 for the Battle Axe  cooldude Great handling tire, great price. I only get 10,000 miles max.

Hi!
What made you decide to use a Shinko, instead of a matching Bridgetone in the front? Just wondering how these Shinkos handle... thanks!
