The USA has now been relegated to AA+, down from AAA.

A credit rating the USA has enjoyed since 1917.

WOW what a ride.

Around the Bowl and down the Hole.

I hope everyone likes soup and queing up.

Because it will be free and wow free is good.

15% of Americans are on Food Stamps, according to the Agricultural Dept.

Check it out, these are not my figures.

But wait the BIG fun will be Monday when the Markets Open.

Don't think I will watch the news or read the papers.

I'll just go ride my Valkyrie one more time, before I have to sell everything to eat.

Not really, but some are already having to do just that.

What a ride.

Fitch Rates States and Large Cities.

S&P told them, 4 trillion or down you go.

Our Government did not even get close.

SO down she goes.

Simple-ain't it. The elected a$$holes thought the money coming in was from a bottomless pit. And they spent it that way. Deficit spending. Raising the debt ceiling. Helping countries that won't help them selves. Cash for clunkers. $500 hammers. Voting them selves raises. Did you or i have ANY say in how they pissed away OUR money??? You know the answer to that one. uglystupid2 tickedoff 2funny Ah h-ll RIDE SAFE.

Hopefully the spit won't hit the fan come Monday. Since there has been rumors of this possibly coming for awhile the market SHOULD not go crazy right now.  Shocked
But get ready because long term outlook is dismal at best.   tickedoff  Cry

Who says POTUS is ineffective and cant lead.  He has led us right where he wants us.  Another step towards Haiti.  Lets face it Baby Doc had a good run, and Hussien covets POTUS for life, or better yet one world gvt. with him leading.  Cant get there if US is a super power.

Its a sad day when the worlds greatest nation needs credit to start with. But when you GIVE away more then  you make what do they expect. SS did not get a cost of living raise but you can bet your A** Congress got theirs and never thought a second about it. God help us all we're going to need it.

I don't see any way that our country will be able to pay back the over 17 trillion dollars that we have borrowed.  The best that congress could come up with is paying down the debt by 2 trillion dollars over 10 years.  We will be allright but millions of yet unborn Americans are screwed!!!  I don't know how our government thinks that it is OK to borrow 40 cents of every dollar they spend.    tickedoff

I don't see any way that our country will be able to pay back the over 17 trillion dollars that we have borrowed.  The best that congress could come up with is paying down the debt by 2 trillion dollars over 10 years.   tickedoff

Right here is the problem.  People believe we actually CUT some spending.  We did NOT!  We are projected to spend 10-12 Trillion MORE than we take in over the next ten years.  IF all the cuts in this bill actually happen, which is doubtful, we will spend 8-10 Trillion MORE than we take in.

So the national debt will only go to about 25 Trillion, instead of 27 Trillion, over the next ten years!  Big whoooop!

Only a reduction in the shortfall, by a tiny amount too.  Yet, according to progressives, it will decimate all the programs, and dump granny over a cliff.

I see no way out.  If we took 100% of the money the top 10% earn, it would not make up the difference.  100%!

50% of Americans pay NO Federal Income Tax.  Dems talk about fairness, what is FAIR about 1/2 of the population paying NO taxes?  I do not think they should pay much, but if you have NO skin in the game, you only take.
