Modular is easiest.  Depends on the style of sunglasses.

Not that I wear prescription glasses, yet, but I always have riding glasses on.  I wear a Nolan N102 helmet.  It's a modular or flip face helmet.  The beauty of this style is you put the helmet on with the face flipped up, put your glasses on and flip the face down.  You can ride with with the face shield up or down and considering the summer heat in the Deep South I almost always ride with it flipped up for better cooling.  Go to dealers try on any flip face.  Find the one that fits your head best and buy it.

I use the Shoei Multitec modular helmet.  Works great with glasses.  They even have indentions around the temples to make room for the eyeglass frames.  Very comfortable helmet...

I have the HJC Symax 2 modular and love it.  The only thing I don't like is it tends to fog up very easy when it rains or is cold.  Prior to this helmet I had a Shoei RF-700 full face (non-modular) and it was nice and comfortable too.

I actually have a shoei full face helmet. My glasses are Oakley with straight legs for easy slide-in after the helmet is on.  But the glasses take a beating on the legs, and if the legs are hooked to go around the ears they wouldn't work.

I tried several full face helmets and found them nearly impossible to use with my glasses.  I can not afford to drop them and get them scratched.  Way to much fumbling around.  I too have the Nolan modular.  No need to remove the glasses either putting it on or taking it off.

Robin,
I got a set of prescription goggles made up a few years ago. They came with a strap and bows plus interchangeable yellow lenses, in addition to the dark ones (you can get clear.) It was a great price considering I use them every time I ride. . . and the girl on the phone was VERY helpful & friendly. She help me pick out the right ones and made sure it was the proper prescription.

To answer your question though; I use a half helmet that has removable curtains. The curtains are nice in cold weather or on the highway, but in the summer I take them off.

These glasses are no-line bifocals w/ transition lenses bought during bike week in Daytona at a vendor. Cool deal, did the script right there!  Also came with those spongy, snap in inserts. They work with all three of my modular flip face helmets. I can slip the helmet right over the already in place glasses.
Got about 20k or so on them with no problems!

Got a bell star and getting the glasses on after the helmet on is a minor P I A at best. uglystupid2 Only use the star when it's cold out-anything below 45 degrees F. Most of my riding is done with an A F X half shell. Got airfoil goggles and with the A F X not even a problem. Next helmet gonna look at a modular very hard. RIDE SAFE.

Any helmet I use I have to first take off my glasses, put on the helmet, then the glasses back on. I use an Arai Classic M open face most often. I also choose frames that are a little thicker on the sides so as to not bend when putting them on between my head and the helmet.

I have the Zeus 3000B modular helmet.  Really nice and comfy with my glasses on.  Only modular that I know of that is Snell approved.  But I still take off my glasses to put the helmet on.  I have been through a lot of helmets and unless it is a shorty, you will have to take your glasses off or you risk knocking them off your face.  For a full face I have a Shoei RF-1000 and I have never had a problem with it.  My glasses fit nicely in them as well.

Fulmer modular or Nitro 3/4 Touring model with flip up shield, both let you put on the helmet with glasses on, also use a Bell shorty in hot weather, no problem with it either. Also, I just recently started using a pair of WileyX glasses, they are wrap around style but are Rx, only brand of curved/wrap around Rx to give me a clear panaroma view yet. They are mil-spec impact resistant and have a removable seal to keep wind/dust from entering the sides. Also, can have interchangable clear/tinted lenses, great product for Rx glasses wearers.

Tourer w/windscreen - prescription wrap-around shades.
Full face helmet 90% of the time... face shield @ 1/2 mast 95% of the time for wind in the face.
Half-helmet 10% of the time.
Helmet goes on first... then shades. Shades come off first... then helmet.

I'm terrible about wearing my glasses like I should..my Rx glasses work fine in my modular, but the sun glasses I have seem to be a very tight fit.  Most of the time I just use the amber shield and forget the glasses.

I have the fulmer modular, function gives me no complaints.I wear RX and bigger sunglasses, shields change easily for day/night, the fit and comfort for me was better than those costing 3 times as much.

It's black, but will be pin stripped to match your bike soon !!

Have both a Fulmer modular and an HJC modular - the Fulmer is a much better fit and gets worn much more. Also have a Fulmer half lid for extreme hot weather.

I can put all of them on and take them all off without removing my Rx glasses or Rx sunglasses.

I have two Nolan modulars.  both work fine with my glasses.

I've always used full face  which was a pain before the modulars.  Now I just leave the glasses on when putting on the helmet.

Fullmer Modular - M-1, I got from someone here on the list, as a "back-up" helmet. Became my daily wear-first, after the first ride. No problem with glasses. I DID just order a set of prescription sunglasses, since I have been using clip-on's  and the distort things a little bit. Supposed to be in next week.

Have the HJC CL-Max II. My chin hits the chin bar. Just enough to make it sore, after several hours riding. I only have about 6 hours on it. I'll probably offer it up for nothing, when I get tired of looking at it. I also have an HJC CL-33, 3/4 helmet that I wear in extreme heat. A tad cooler, but a tad noisier, as well...

The only problem with Fullmer, is that the nearest dealer is 40 miles away, and they DO NOT sell any single part, even visors, other than dealer, that I have found. If I'm wrong, someone send a link...

Nolan n102 modular.  Plenty of room around the ears for earphones and my glasses.  About as close to perfect as I can get, barring getting lasik to improve this crappy vision!

I used to wear prescription glasses but had cataract surgery in both eyes with lens implants and don't need glasses now.  But I wear sunglasses with my FF Bell Apex helmet.  The sunglasses have straight earpieces and I can slide them in with the helmet on.  Could do the same in the past with my prescription glasses.

I've never owned/used/tried on a full face that wouldn't work with glasses.  I currently use an HJC CL-15.

Like someone else said, I have to remove the glasses before I put the helmet on or take it off.
