Left on Thursday to meet a couple of friends of 30 years. we are off on a couple of week ride. I left from SoCal desert up the eastern Sierras to meet them north of Mono Lake. I go by Mt. Whitney (highest in US) and took a ride up into Yosemite where I have been many times. This is coming up the east entrance:
Met buddies after long day, ate, drinks, hit the sack.
Yesterday through a lot of Nevada desert and in for the night. Almost 1500 mi after our third day today, trying to go through back roads and stay off the freeways. Today to Jackson,WY then tomorrow to Grand Tetons, Yellowstone then over to Sturgis for a couple of days. About 1/2 the trip on little traffic roads in nevada and idaho today, fun.
If we can tolerate each other (my two buddies got pissed at each other today and one split for the night) then back to yellowstone, Washington, Oregon and down Pacific coast. For me a great few days and more to come.
