Haven't gotten me yet but they've been laying off in twos and threes for a few days. Got my cube neighbor and our last night support guy yesterday. It's indiscriminate now...hacking based on money/benefits and not based on what the company needs to function.

There's only 4 left in my group Sad

May make it another month, maybe another year. Gonna use the pay and vacation/comp time to forward all my plans until they toss me out.

I knew a guy who got sacked 3 month before he retired.
32 years with Monkey Wards and he was late twice in a month.
 I think they were looking for a reason not to pay his retirement.

Corporate anorexia.  A corporation makes initial cuts and discovers they can survive so they make a second pass and then a third.  Soon the behavior reaches the level of obsession.  Truthfully, most of them started too fat, but they get way too skinny much too soon.

I'm not sure who is the winner in this scenario.
