The funeral was today. The service started at 2. The minister did a fine job celabrating her long and fruitful life.
She was my favorite aunt. I have many fond memories of her. One I remember when I was 9 my grandmother died (her and my dads mom). I was standing next to the casket and aunt Eileen was holding my hand. I also remember going to her house and eating her very wonderful cookng. She made the best sugar cookies. I will miss those. I will miss her.
After the service we followed the herse to the cematary. After some words at the grave site we started to leave. Some walked a little ways to two headstones. Its at that moment I realized that they belonged to my grand parents. I had never seen them before. I was only nine when my grandma died as stated above. I was less than a year old when my grandpa died.
With that said on behalf of my family I want to thank you all for the thoughts and prayers. It is greatly apreciated.. Thank you......

Wayne, to you and yours, my most heartfelt sympathies and deepest condolences. I lost my only sibling, my younger brother, two years ago when he was only 58, and my mom a month ago at 88. Its the loneliest feeling in the world to be the only one of your family left. God Bless.
