The little holes next to the spark plugs that allow water to run out. What's the best/easiest way to unclog them?

Air or a length of wire.. Try not to let anything fall into the bigger hole.. Smiley

I've never actually looked for or seen these holes, but if they are 3mm or more, long pipe cleaners shouls work nicely.

I use either a long piece of bailing wire or safetry wire.

I haven't needed to clear mine, but I would just use a coat hanger and bend it as needed.

Well there's brilliant bit of information, I wasn't aware of those 'weep holes' at the bottom of the plug socket. . My valk is just recovering from a bad misfire, the problem being that the No. 1 plug socket was actually full of water. I was thinking to myself that this was a bad design until I stumbled on this thread. Right enough on inspection there is a 'weep hole' and it was blocked. I removed the plug and used a piece of strong wire to clear the blockage..

This VRCC Tech Board is brilliant, everytime I read it there is another gem of priceless information. Every conceivable Valkyrie problem seems to have got an airing in here.. Keep it up..

I would strongly suggest that if you pull the plug(s) with the intent of clearing those weep holes, you tear off some paper towel pieces and stuff them in the plug holes. Another spot that debris likes to collect is directly above the oil dipstick. Check it before pulling that stick and blow it off.

Good policy anyway to blow out the chamber after pulling the wire & before pulling the plug.

Hi Radio This is what it looks like when the weep holes are plugged and the plugs rust. Didn't know what the orange fluid was leaking on one side when I went for a ride. Crawl underneath at least once a year to do them all.

Does this bike sit out in the rain or something??  That is a lot of water and rust.  Looks like other items are also rusted in that same area.
