A trip this far and this long does take some of us 6-9 months to plan and swallow the $$. I have 2 events lined up on the way out if I make it all the way.

Some excellent riding in the area, my parents lived in Monette,MO about 65 miles north of Ground zero, a little north and east, Lake of The Ozarks, on the state line Bull Shoals lake, some awesome roads around there. I am planning on some extra time to visit distant relatives, and visit some of my old riding areas. Ozark National forest, is a lot like the Smokie mountains, not the elevation but still good riding.
