Tore my arm up in June.   tickedoff  Dr. put everything back together.  Haven't ridden the bike since mid June.  Cry  Brace is finally off.  Dr doesn't care if I ride, but I'm not supposed to lift anything heavier then a cup of coffee for awhile.  If the fat lady leans a couple of degrees at a light, the arm doesn't have the strength to right her, and the ligament might pop off again  Shocked  so no riding for another month probably.

Been home on disability since then, at least another month to go.  The cabin fever is exponentially greater since the Valk is out there calling me.   crazy2

Just wanted to bee-yotch a little around sympathetic folks.

You have my sympathy. I had some surgery in October last year and was off the bike till July this year, so I know what you're going through. Be patient, the fat lady will wait for you. And it'll be so much better than you remembered.  Wink

If you'd like, I can swing by, pick up the fat girl and ride her down to the Keys and back for ya. You know, just to keep the the battery charged and the fluids moving around...don't want that gas to go bad.  Wink

Hope you're riding soon!

Well look on the bright side, the weather should be perfect when you are ready to get back in the saddle.  Not like here in MI where your ridnind season will be coming to an end.  Good luck and don't over do it.

Stick with it - the old girl will wait for you! Follow what the docs and therapists say and keep up your home exercises for a more harmonious outcome. I'll be joining you in forced downtime starting Tuesday when I have my right knee replaced. Not sure yet how long I'll be unable to ride, but probably 6-8 weeks. Good Luck, Chiefy!

They say misery loves company.  But I don't believe that one.  Good luck with the knee.  They seem to have knees down cold now.

Monday was the back on the bike day for me. I was off since May, and it was rugged.
Trust me, when your whole and able, the wind will still be sweet.
