Bonnie was doing a natural health fair (she is an herbalist) down in Elmsford so I followed her to the Marriott on the Valk early this morning, helped her set up and rode on up to Danbury CT the long way to meet up with the CT crew.  Put on a fair amount of miles riding west from there to Cold Spring and the Hudson River then rode all the way back to the Marriott to bring wife lunch. Now I am home for a spell before I leave at 5 to pack her up again.   Last full day on the car tire before Dalai puts on my Cobra for me

Why did I post ?

Well, you ever been riding on a HOT day just riding and having a great time and then all of a sudden you go by a stream and the air is COOL  I mean fresh and cool like God has the icebox open and is giving you a refrigerator girl to get you a beer COOL

and you make a U turn down the road because.........well it felt so damn good and you want to be sure that feeling was real not imagination and you go past the spot again  make another u turn and just park the Valk by the stream for a minute or so.   Yes Valker I walked into the stream with my waterproof boots on LOL just because I can.

Anyway thats it just wanted to bring my friends the image of riding and then finding that perfect spot to do nothing at

sorry if I dangled a preposition there

Every rider has moments like that - I think it's called  a  "Zen Moment" or something like that.

Every once in a while, all the planets align, the weather is right, there's no place in particular you gotta be, and maybe just the right song comes on the old XM radio - and for that brief moment, everything is right with the universe.

You might not remember everything about that moment, but years later, you'll still remember the feeling.

Thanks for sharing, Oss.....
