Anyone use this visor: http://www.super-visor.com/index.html  Looks good, but most products do on paper.  I currently use a Frog lids one inside my helmet.  It's okay, but not quite large enough.  And my new sunglasses are too large to use it with.  It's always something......

Not that but my NOLAN has a removable beak.  It looks odd but it works like a baseball cap when riding into the sun.

Wouldn't work for me. Even if it works on 3/4 helmet visors, I can't ride with the visor all the way down without it fogging up. If I have to ride into the sun I ride with the visor down only one click from full open, and line the bottom with duct tape. Instant sun visor, removable and easily cleaned up. And you get 25 feet of it for $2.95.

Doing something similar now in conjunction with the Frog lids.  But the tape isn't enough by itself, and the Frog lids doesn't fit with the new sunglasses.  Besides, withe the visor all the way down, the tape interferes with my seeing the gauges.

FrogLidz.com seems to have blown out. Their eBay sales have stopped also.

Can't help ya on the Super-Visor, but the Sun Blocker lower on the page does the job for me. I have one on all my shields, even the smoke tinted one.

It worked pretty good, I was very happy with mine.

Is that stuff opaque, or does it let some Sun through?  Driving into a Florida sunset, it has to block the Sun altogether.  At least for my eyes.

I have a very cheap solution that works for me

Electrical tape across the bottom 2 or 3 inches of the visor on my full face Shoei

Just lift the visor to the required height setting and you can ride into the sun and no worries and no blinding sun in your eyes.

Wish I had one on my 1/2 helmet but at least I have a sun visor

YMMV

I've got the sun blocker... It is transparent. I hated it the first time or two, now I don't notice it. And it really does the trick
for riding into the sun... just a tilt of the head is all it takes. I wear sunglasses also.

i've painted the top edge inside, down to a point just above the eye brow line......and have also used electrical tape on the outside......works just as well as a visor, if not better......very cheap fix.

I usually buy several extra shields, for my helmets. I wonder if limosine dark tint, for windows, would work? We have several detail shops nearby, and I'm pretty sure they'd have some scraps laying around, or would hold some, to give it a try. Limo tint would probably still allow some light through, but greatly cut it down. Any comments?

I'm expecting the 2nd shield for my Fullmer, any day now.

ok here it is

when I get home tonite I will take a pic of the helmet

Just imagine  2 or 3 rows of electrical tape along the BOTTOM edge of the face shield
and a row across the top as well so you have coverage with shield open or closed and can still see perfectly side to side

Okay, no one has tried that visor.  It's cheap enough, guess I'll order one.

Duct tape works better, and comes in a variety of exciting paterns and colors. I use camo duct tapr, so it can't be seen by others.
