I prolly can't Richard... the school district already has the talons set into me... and I need to fix a garage door opener for my mother-in-law on Sunday.

I'll be working in Temple Saturday. Plan to be back home Saturday night if I don't have to work late. So, Sunday is possible for me.

Both bikes are down. One waiting for a water pump(10 days) the other has a fuel leak.

Saturday doesn't work for me. Got caretaker duties at home. Sunday is a go though, but doesn't sound like it's gonna work with the other schedules.

Church choir is back on the job, so it's gotta be Saturday if it's a morning start time. Only other thing on my "must do" calendar for the weekend is oil changes for my bikes. I'll have at least one of them out of the way before Saturday morning, just in case. "Funny" thing about now having to do my own wrenching... Had a three-year pre-paid maintenance plan on my VTX that was too good a deal to ignore. Said plan expired July 8th while I was on my CO trip. Made inquiry as to renewing the plan, and got an extremely rude awakening as far as what the stealership considers a good deal. As a friend of mine used to say, "Did he say who it's a good deal *for*?" List price: $2,995 -- yes, they're clearly smoking crack . Price with purchase of new bike: whatever you can negotiate, but mine was $1,150 because the salesman had a *very* good day when he sold two identical VTX1300Cs to me and Hank at the same time . Quoted price on a renewal (if the old plan has not yet expired or just recently expired): $1,599. Figured offering $1,400 cash might fly, and spread my wampum on the table. Quoted price for *my* renewal because it has been more than a month since the old plan expired, even though no scheduled service has been missed: $2,500. Yes, I told the sales-prevention unit to go pound sand . I was polite about it, but not ambiguous. First stop after leaving the stealership was the bank (to redeposit the funds I intended to spend on the maintenance plan). Dealership loyalty? I have none at this point...

Well dang. As it turn out we're on the hook for a visitor Sunday. A future Bro-in-law oughta know better. Y'all have a fun time, and ride safe.
