I was wondering if anyone has found an amp and speakers that will work with the stock stereo in a valkyrie interstate? I would seriously like to add some more power to my stock system. Thanks in advance....roadstarone

I got this from Electrical Connections.  240 watts.  Mounted in the fairing.  Been there over two years and is still rock solid.  Got 4 Alpine speakers to replace the originals.

I took the picture before wiring it up.  Next time the fairing is off, I'll take more pics.

I used this amp: http://www.xplodsony.com/xplod/amplifiers/XM-4S
mounted similar to the way Steve mounted his.

And these speakers front and back: http://www.polkaudio.com/caraudio/db/index.php?s=db501

Still playing around with the subwoofer, it didn't work out in the trunk.

Thanks alot, I really appreciate the information. Gives me a good idea of what to look for and also where to mount it. I hadnot thought about mounting an amp in the fairing.
